This new cuvée from organic Champagne Leclerc Briant sources Chardonnay from across Champagne, including the chalky outposts of Mongeaux and Sézannais. It was native fermented and rested 10 months before going to bottle unfined and unfiltered. This 2018 rested 4 years sur lattes before being disgorged in June 2023, with 1.9 g/L. Green apple, subtle anise, lemon verbena is seasoned with light toast, running long and saline through the humming finish. Great energy and poise here.
