This Fiano di Avelino comes from Vigna Civitella, and was native fermented with 5 days on skins in stainless prior to 9 months in 660 L French Barrels. It was bottled without fining, and with minimal filtration. Pouring a shining gold hue, this skips along the palate with wild lemon, kumquat, lime blossoms, mandarin pith, and apricot skin texturing the slight, saline frame. Taut, stencilled, bone dry, and interesting, this is not your typical Tuscan white / orange, and one for adventuresome drinkers to seek out.
